Magento Custom Option Image Changer with Magic Zoom Plus

I've tried everything to get this to work, and it simply doesn't want to play ball.

Here's what I've tried.

1.  Installed demo version of MZP (Magic Zoom Plus) using the Automatic installation tool.
2.  Then purchased full version and updated with new JS file.
3.  Thumbnails work and update main image, and Zoom tool and Popup both work.
4.  Created Simple product in Magento with Custom Option for Colour; named Colour
5.  Created Images with labels eg. Blue
6.  Created Custom Option with titles eg. Blue
7.  Updated .ini file with 'Colour'
8.  Updated Select.php with the code found in the manual install.

I've tried mutliple variations on case with no effect.

Is there anything that I am missing?
