Clicking kills magic zoom

Hi,

I have been testing a mouseover zoom and it works great, but if you click the image that you are mousing over, magic zoom dies.  On firefox, the zoomed image freezes and on Safari, the main image disappears completely.  You can no longer choose another image either, so basically all functionality is lost.

There are no javascript errors, so I cannot work out what the problem is or what could be causing it.
