Deleting the cache files

Hello

Just a quick question regarding the magic zoom cache folder. I've purchased and installed Magic Zoom with X-cart. In the /image/ folder is a "magictoolbox_cache" folder, which contains a cache of all the images (to my understanding). If I were to delete all the images in this, will Magic Zoom re-create the images again? Is this safe to do so?

My reason for wanting to delete the cache image files is because if I upload a newer image but with the same filename, I've noticed that the thumbnail images does not update but the larger image does. ie: the thumbnail image is still the old image while the larger zoomed image is the new image.

Hi minhta,

That is correct. You need to clear the magictoolbox_cache folder and Magic Zoom will re-create the thumbnail images.
